Udupi: Ahead of Chief Minister D K Shivakumar’s proposed visit to Hebri, Udupi district officials inspected the arrangements at the helipad and the venue where the meeting is scheduled to be held.
The inspection was carried out to review the preparations and ensure that necessary arrangements are in place for the Chief Minister’s visit.
Security and traffic arrangements reviewed
Udupi Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abheed Gadyal, Assistant Commissioner Rashmi S R, Additional Superintendent of Police Ishita Gupta and officials from various government departments took part in the inspection.
The officials conducted a comprehensive review of the security arrangements at the helipad and meeting venue.
Traffic management measures were also examined in view of the movement of the Chief Minister and other dignitaries expected to attend the programme.
The officials discussed the necessary arrangements to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and prevent inconvenience to the public during the visit.
Other logistical and administrative preparations connected with the proposed programme were also reviewed.
Preparations reviewed at meeting venue
The inspection covered the venue where the Chief Minister is scheduled to address the meeting. Officials assessed the arrangements required at the location and reviewed the measures needed for the smooth conduct of the programme.
Karnataka Narayana Guru Development Corporation chairman Mudradi Manjunath Poojary provided details regarding the preparations and arrangements being made for the event.
The visit of the senior officials is part of the district administration’s preparations to ensure that all arrangements are completed ahead of the Chief Minister’s arrival.
Public representatives and leaders present
Several local representatives, political leaders and others were present during the inspection.
Entrepreneur Hebri Satish Pai, Chara Vadiraaj Shetty, Congress leaders Praveen Ballal, Dinesh Shetty Hutturke, Shankar Sherigar, H Janardhan and Nilesh Poojary, among others, participated in the inspection and discussions.
The officials and local representatives reviewed the preparations together and discussed the measures required for the proposed programme.
With the Chief Minister’s visit approaching, district authorities are focusing on security, traffic regulation and other arrangements to ensure the programme is conducted smoothly.
