Udupi — The Udupi Railway Yatri Sangha has urged the district administration to introduce a dedicated city bus service connecting Udupi Indrali Railway Station.

A delegation, led by Sangha President Dheeraj Shanthi, submitted a formal appeal to District Collector Swaroop T.K., highlighting the need for better last-mile connectivity for passengers. On the occasion, the members also extended their congratulations to the newly appointed Collector.

The delegation included Vice President Madhusudan Heroor, Secretary Manjunath Manipal, Treasurer Ajith Kumar Pai, and Directors John Rebello, Srinivas Shetty Tonse, and Placid. They stressed that the bus service would greatly benefit daily commuters, long-distance travelers, and students, making the station more accessible and improving public transport integration.
