Udupi: Padma Gangadhar announced that a five-day free Sahaja Yoga Meditation Festival (Sahaja Yoga Dhyanatsava) will be conducted across various venues in Udupi district from June 25 to 29. She provided the schedule and details at a recent press briefing.
The meditation sessions will kick off on June 25 at the Ambalpadi Sri Janardhana Mahakali Temple from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. On June 26, it will move to Sri Krishna Math’s Rajangana, followed by an evening session from 6 PM to 9 PM at Bailur Mahishamardini Devasthanam.
On June 27, the event will take place at Kadiyali Mahishamardini Temple, while Ajjarkadu Purabhavana will host a full-day session on June 28 from 9 AM to 9 PM. The final day, June 29, will be held at Malpe Fisheries Sabhabhavan.
Padma explained that Sahaja Yoga helps improve mental clarity and concentration, boosts creativity, and aids in maintaining inner calm amidst daily stress. It also strengthens immunity and fosters a sense of peace and contentment. Practicing this form of meditation is said to enhance emotional traits like compassion, patience, and love.
She was joined by Udupi Centre President Vishnumurthy Udupa, along with activists Naveen Shetty, Govardhan Thingalaya, and Abhishek, who were also present to support the event.
