Udupi: Raghunath N Salian, a prominent businessman and respected community leader, passed away at his residence in Udyawar, Udupi, on Monday. He was 87.
Salian was the owner of Balaji Bar and Naveen Bar, well-known establishments in the region. Beyond his business ventures, he played an active role in community service. He served as the former president of Bolje Brahma Baidrakala Garadi and also presided over the Kedar Brahmalingeshwara Kala Mandali, contributing significantly to cultural and social initiatives.
He is survived by his two sons, four daughters, and a large circle of relatives and friends who mourn his loss.
