Udup: A young saxophone artist from Neelavara, Namrutha Devadiga, died while undergoing treatment after reportedly attempting suicide over a personal matter.
Namrutha was studying away from home
Namrutha was pursuing her studies in Bengaluru when she reportedly took the extreme step following a personal matter.
She was initially admitted to a private hospital and was later shifted to a private hospital in Manipal for further treatment. However, she succumbed while undergoing treatment.
Police register case
Following the incident, a case has been registered at the Brahmavar police station. Further details regarding the circumstances surrounding her death were not immediately available.
Namrutha’s death has left her family, friends and the local community mourning the loss of a young artist with a passion for music.
