Mysuru: “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone”! When the students move out of their comfort zone, experiential learning teaches them life beyond the classroom and the holistic perspective of social wellbeing.  This was the takeaway for the EAE Business School students who were on Student Exchange Program (SEP) visit to India at the partnering premier B-School SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysuru. The SEP 2022 program was designed and offered with the theme ‘Social Responsibility’. The EAE students had an opportunity to learn from the domain experts about various topics in line with the focused theme of Social Responsibility. The learning from the CSR initiatives from the Indian corporate world and its impact on society was the core takeaway for the visiting students during the industry visits.

EAE Business School students carried out a Socially Relevant Project at Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project [SKDRDP] in the nearby villages in Srirangapatna, along with students from the host institute. The joint project helped them to experience the social inclusiveness and the modus operandi of the socially relevant projects.

The 15-day intensive SEP 2022 blended with classroom sessions, industry visits, on-field project work, visit to tribal settlement area, visit national monuments, cultural performance, yoga sessions and experiencing Indian food, culminated with the Certificate Awarding Ceremony on July 29, 2022, at SDMIMD Campus.
