Mangaluru: The Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) Mangalore/Udupi Chapter conducted a Training Programme for its members on the topic ‘Media Releases’ by the renowned journalist Mahesh Nayak, Executive Editor, Mangalore Today, on July 30, 2022, at Besant Women’s College.
The Chapter Chair CA M N Pai and Secretary Dr Malini Hebbar convened the session. Mahesh Nayak shed light on different types of media releases and the important components of media releases. He stressed the importance of having a nose for news so that citizens report incidents that are worthy of the attention of the readers and contribute to creating a greater awareness among the public on matters of general importance.
Kavitha Kamath conducted an interactive session for the members and Managing Council Members Dr Flosy C R D’Souza and Peter. Anthony Pinto introduced the resource person and proposed the Vote of Thanks.
