Former Chief Minister and Haveri-Gadag MP Basavaraj Bommai recently met with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, urging for the upgrade of the Ilkal-Karwar state highway to a national highway. During the meeting on Wednesday, Bommai highlighted the infrastructural advancements in Karnataka’s road and highway networks under his leadership. Discussions also centered around the implementation of key projects like the Gajendragad ring road and Gadag ring road.
Dr. Sudhakar, MP for Chikballapur, was also present during the meeting, where strategic plans for enhancing road connectivity and infrastructure in Karnataka were deliberated.
