Vijayapura: In a heartwarming gesture, the alumni of Government High School in Nagavi village, Sindagi taluk, organized a grand procession to bid farewell to their beloved teacher, D.B. Beerappagola, who retired after 25 years of service.

The procession, which began at the village’s Mallikarjuna temple, wound its way through the village and culminated at the school premises, where a public ceremony was held to honor Beerappagola. The retired teacher was overwhelmed with emotion as he addressed the gathering, saying, “My wealth is my students, and this grand farewell is a testament to the bond between teacher and student.”
