Uttar Pradesh: A college dropout , Akhlaq-ur-Rehman was arrested for planning a terror attack ahead of this Republic Day as part of an Islamic State (ISIS). The terrorist of Indian origin re-told his story of reformation from a 17-year-old poletechnic student to a dreaded ISIS terrorist.
It all started on It the 22nd anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition, when everyone around Akhlaq was talking about how kar sevaks had brought down the mosque in 1992. Ina bid to went out his emotions,  Akhlaq took to Facebook to express himself and wrote a strong post and shared it on several public forums.

According to reports, after this post, Akhlaq received a message in his inbox from a person named Yousufal-Hindi. The man claimed to be an Islamic preacher and praised Akhlaq’s views. Akhlaq was later invited to a chat where he was asked to use his anger in the best possible way.

After the incident, Akhlaq began chatting with Yousuf frequently and slowly  the conversations progressed from problems in India to global issues. It took Akhlaq a few months to get convinced that fighting injustice was the only solution to the problems of Muslims worldwide.

And one fine day, after Akhlaq’s potential was tested, Yousuf asked him if he would like to fight for Islam and ISIS and Akhlaq readily agreed.

Investigators believe Yousuf is actually the ISIS “commander” Shafi Armar whose brother Sultan died fighting for the so-called caliphate in Syria last year. Akhlaq was also asked to rope in like-minded people.
