Jharkhand: When Jharkhand Education Minister Neera Yadav “mistakenly” paid floral tributes to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam five days ago, nobody knew it’s going to turn into a sad reality soon. Many say this blunder of the neta can’t forgiven.
Twitterati consider the minister’s stupid act as a bad omen and have been attacking her on Twitter for paying homage in advance. Dr Kalam was declared dead at 7.45 pm on Monday, five days after the floral tributes paid by the minister.
Yadav initially offered a coconut to the picture of former president to inaugurate a smart classroom and then paid floral tribute.
Shockingly BJP member Manish Jaiswal along with school principal and other dignitaries were also present at the function, but none of them came forward to stop the minister from doing so.
Defending herself from the criticism, the education minister said that in ‘Saraswati Shishu Mandir’ we always pay tribute to great personalities but I never offered the garland at Kalam’s picture.
