Japan: Japanese voters participated in the parliamentary elections on Sunday July 10 that is expected to give the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) strong support.
This wave comes in the wake of killing of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Media had stated that 15.3 per cent of voters already had cast absentee ballots. The polls will close at 8.00 pm.
Abe was gunned down on Friday July 8 during a speech at Nara in support of a local candidate.
