Los Angeles: At least 20 people were injured after a car rammed into a crowd on Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood early Friday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

The incident occurred around 2:00 am (local time). Emergency responders reported that five individuals are in critical condition, with 8 to 10 others seriously injured. Approximately a dozen more sustained minor injuries and are currently described as being in fair condition.

LAFD issued an alert confirming they are coordinating triage and transport operations for the victims. Multiple ambulances and emergency units responded quickly to the chaotic scene.
