Italian firefighters carried out a challenging rescue after a shepherd dog became stranded on a narrow ledge in the Alps after wandering away from its owner.
Dog becomes trapped on mountain ledge

After reaching the animal, the firefighters were able to secure it and carefully bring it away from the exposed section of the mountain.
