As part of ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’, the UAE Floating Hospital, located in Al-Arish, has admitted 30 Palestinian patients since the ceasefire began and medical evacuations resumed through the Rafah crossing. The hospital has been playing a crucial role in offering medical assistance to those affected by the ongoing crisis.
According to Mohammed Rashid Al-Kaabi, the hospital’s Medical Director, it has provided vital medical care to 7,534 patients since its services began. This includes 2,561 surgeries across various specialties, physical therapy for around 2,850 cases, and the fitting of 21 prosthetic limbs.
Al-Kaabi emphasized the UAE Floating Hospital’s commitment to continuing its medical services, upholding the highest medical and humanitarian standards. This initiative reflects the UAE’s dedication to supporting Palestinian relief efforts, offering critical healthcare services such as emergency surgeries, primary care, and advanced treatment, all overseen by qualified medical professionals.
