Putin acknowledged Modi’s dedication, remarking on his lifelong service to India and its people. Modi reciprocated by affirming that his singular focus remains on India and its citizens.

Earlier, Modi was warmly received by Putin at Novo-Ogaryovo for an informal engagement. Putin welcomed Modi, expressing pleasure at their informal discussions ahead of their official talks scheduled for the following day.

Putin congratulated Modi on his re-election, attributing it to Modi’s years of leadership and vision for India, highlighting India’s economic prowess and population size. He noted the significance of India’s demographic trends, emphasizing stability and confidence among its people.
