Islamabad: Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, made a triumphant return to his homeland on Saturday after four years in exile. During his address, he expressed his unwavering commitment to serving the nation and emphasized his willingness to make any necessary sacrifices for this cause.
While speaking at a rally in Lahore, he reminisced about the historic occasion when Pakistan became a nuclear-armed nation. He lamented that today, Pakistan is globally recognized for its persistent power shortages and the issue of load-shedding.
“Can you identify who bears the responsibility for this?” he inquired while displaying a 2016 electricity bill receipt, venting his displeasure at the performance of the government of that era. He recollected his opposition to then-US President Bill Clinton concerning the matter of nuclear testing.
