London: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced a financial aid of £10 million to support Palestinian civilians affected by the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in the occupied Palestinian territories.
This contribution marks a substantial increase in the current aid effort and brings the total UK support for the region to £27 million this year, with a significant portion allocated to bolstering the area. During his visit to the region in September this year, UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly had pledged approximately £6 million to assist over 10 million pounds for vulnerable Palestinian refugees.
