President Joe Biden cautioned on Monday that the US Supreme Court’s significant ruling on presidential immunity establishes a “dangerous precedent” that Donald Trump could exploit if elected in November.

“Today’s decision, for all practical purposes, almost certainly implies that there are no limits to what a president can do. This introduces a fundamentally new principle, and it is a dangerous precedent,” Biden stated during a speech at the White House.

“The American people must decide whether they want to entrust the presidency to Donald Trump once again, knowing he would be more emboldened to act as he pleases, whenever he wishes,” he added.
