The world’s largest Legoland Resort in Shanghai, China, is attracting global attention after a travel vlogger shared inside visuals of the massive theme park on social media.

The video, which has gone viral on Instagram, shows detailed Lego-built scenes of traditional Chinese water towns, miniature cityscapes and the iconic Shanghai skyline recreated entirely using colourful Lego bricks.

Visitors were also seen exploring replicas of bridges, markets and buildings inspired by famous locations across China.

Park built with over 85 million Lego bricks

Spread across nearly 318,000 square metres, the Legoland Shanghai Resort officially opened to visitors last year and is currently recognised as the world’s largest Lego-themed amusement park.

The resort features eight themed lands, including Lego Ninjago, Lego Friends and Monkie Kid, along with 75 rides, attractions and interactive experiences.

One of the main highlights of the park is its miniature recreation of Shanghai’s Lujiazui financial district waterfront, constructed using more than 85 million Lego bricks.

The resort also includes a 250-room Lego-themed hotel for visitors.

Theme park boosts Shanghai tourism

Tourism officials believe the attraction will further strengthen Shanghai’s position as one of China’s leading tourism destinations.

Li Wenjie, CEO of Shanghai Yaheng International Travel, said the Legoland Resort would complement attractions such as Disneyland Shanghai and Haichang Ocean Park by offering unique family-friendly experiences.

The theme park generally operates between 10 am and 6 pm, with ticket prices ranging from approximately CNY 319 to CNY 599 depending on the season.

Located around 60 kilometres from downtown Shanghai, the resort can be accessed through Jinshan North Station followed by a short taxi or bus ride.#Shanghai #Legoland #Travel #Tourism #ThemePark #newskarnataka
