A terrifying 911 call revealed the harrowing moments when Charles Ryan Alexander abducted his 7-year-old non-custodial daughter, Oaklynn Alexander, threatening both their lives. The incident unfolded on November 11 in Ohio, starting with Alexander taking the girl from her grandmother’s home after failing to pick her up from school earlier that day.

An Amber Alert was issued, and after a high-speed chase, police deflated Alexander’s car tires, forcing him to stop. In chilling 911 audio, Alexander threatened to kill himself and his daughter, telling her they would “both go to heaven.” The girl, pleading for her life, repeatedly said, “I don’t want to go to heaven today.”

Police negotiators worked to de-escalate the situation, appealing to Alexander’s love for his daughter. Despite their efforts, Alexander was fatally shot by officers during the rescue. Oaklynn was recovered physically unharmed but emotionally shaken.

This tragic case highlights the devastating consequences of custody disputes turning violent and the critical role of law enforcement in child recovery operations.
