Mumbai: Actor Aditya Roy Kapur, who teams up again with director Anurag Basu for Metro In Dino, has described the experience as “a discovery every single day.” This marks their second collaboration after the 2020 anthology film Ludo.

During the ongoing promotions for Metro In Dino, Aditya opened up about the creative energy on set and what made this film stand out for him. “Working with Dada (Basu) is always unpredictable—in the best way. You never know what idea he’ll throw at you next, and that’s what makes it so exciting,” he said.

What drew Aditya to this project was its innovative musical format. “There’s a fluid blend of dialogue and music. Shifting from speaking to singing within a scene, and back again, was a fresh and rewarding challenge for me,” he explained.

Metro In Dino features an impressive ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, and Neena Gupta. The film also reunites Basu with composer Pritam, marking their first collaboration since Ludo and rekindling a creative partnership that began with Gangster.

Set in the contemporary urban landscape, the film explores the complexity of modern relationships and the many shades of love, pain, and connection.

With its unique storytelling approach, Metro In Dino promises to be both emotionally resonant and artistically bold.
