The Arbi Waterfalls in Manipal has recently emerged as a major tourist attraction, thanks to the heavy rains in July that have turned it into a stunning natural spectacle. Located in a dense forest at Arbi Kodi, 80th Badagubettu village, Udupi, the waterfall is a 3-kilometer drive from Manipal via Alevoor, followed by a 1-kilometer walk from Dasharatha town towards the Vaishnavi Durga Temple.

During the monsoon season, the waterfall cascades gracefully over rocks, creating a breathtaking view similar to a milky stream. Its abundant flow has drawn thousands of tourists seeking a refreshing escape from the bustling city life of Manipal.

Visitors are advised to be cautious of slippery stones, though the site is generally considered safe. Ashwini, a first-time visitor, shared, “Despite being born and raised here, I only recently discovered this place through social media. It’s a beautiful spot, but we need to stay cautious.”

Avinash, another tourist, commented, “This is a great local spot. It’s important to prioritize safety and keep the area clean. This is my second visit, and unlike other waterfalls, it is safe enough for children.”

The seasonal surge of the Arbi Waterfalls continues to attract tourists, making it a picturesque and popular destination.
