New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the 2026 Brezza facelift in India today, bringing a refreshed design, upgraded technology, enhanced safety features and possible powertrain updates to one of the country’s best-selling compact SUVs. The updated Brezza is expected to strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s position in the highly competitive sub-four-metre SUV segment.
The facelifted Brezza will rival popular models such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq. While Maruti Suzuki has kept many details under wraps, test mules and industry reports have revealed several expected changes.

The current 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is expected to continue, although some reports suggest Maruti Suzuki could also introduce a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine on selected variants. The company has not officially confirmed the powertrain details.
7. Manual and automatic gearbox options
The Brezza is expected to continue offering both manual and automatic transmission choices. A CNG variant is also likely to remain part of the line-up to cater to buyers seeking lower running costs.

While official prices will be announced at launch, industry estimates suggest Maruti Suzuki will price the facelift competitively to maintain the Brezza’s strong position in the compact SUV market.
