New Delhi: Aston Martin has unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, its first road-legal motorcycle, in collaboration with specialist motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior. The exclusive two-wheeler combines a 1,083cc V-twin engine, titanium construction and carbon-fibre bodywork, with production limited to just 300 units globally.

The AMB 002 Roadster follows the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, which were also developed through the Aston Martin-Brough Superior partnership. Unlike those earlier motorcycles, the new model has been engineered for road use and is positioned as a collector-focused performance motorcycle.

At the heart of the AMB 002 Roadster is a 1,083cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled V-twin engine producing 130 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. Aston Martin says the engine has been tuned to deliver strong low- and mid-range performance while maintaining power higher in the rev range.

The motorcycle weighs around 190 kg, helping give it a strong power-to-weight ratio. Its lightweight construction is supported by a titanium structural frame and extensive use of carbon fibre.

The engine and chassis have been developed with road riding in mind, with the manufacturer focusing on predictable performance and handling rather than the extreme track-oriented character of the earlier AMB 001 Pro.

Titanium frame gives 50:50 weight distribution

One of the key engineering highlights of the AMB 002 Roadster is its titanium structural spine frame.

The frame is machined from a single billet of titanium and forms the structural backbone of the motorcycle. According to Aston Martin, the design contributes to a 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution and a low centre of gravity.

The motorcycle also uses a carbon-fibre fuel tank and carbon-fibre body panels to keep weight under control while maintaining the premium construction expected from such a limited-production model.

Unique Fior front suspension

The AMB 002 Roadster gets a distinctive double-wishbone Fior front suspension system instead of conventional telescopic forks.

The arrangement separates steering and suspension functions and is designed to improve stability while reducing front-end dive during hard braking. The setup is part of Brough Superior’s engineering approach and contributes to the motorcycle’s unusual chassis design.

The motorcycle is designed to offer a planted feel through corners, while the low centre of gravity and balanced weight distribution are intended to improve handling.

Aston Martin-inspired design

The AMB 002 Roadster carries several design elements inspired by Aston Martin’s performance cars.

The motorcycle features exposed carbon-fibre bodywork, sculpted side fairings and distinctive crescent-shaped openings that assist engine cooling and airflow. The Aston Martin side-strake design has also been incorporated into the motorcycle’s bodywork.

The twin-oval exhaust outlets feature ribbed detailing inspired by the exhaust designs used on Aston Martin’s performance cars. The rear lighting elements also draw inspiration from the company’s high-performance models, including the Valkyrie, Vulcan and Valhalla.

The overall design has been developed with input from the Aston Martin Design Studio under Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman.

Only 300 motorcycles to be built

Exclusivity is a major part of the AMB 002 Roadster’s appeal. Aston Martin and Brough Superior will produce only 300 examples worldwide, with each motorcycle individually built.

Production will take place at Brough Superior’s facility in Toulouse, France. Orders are already being accepted, with first deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.

The limited production run is expected to make the AMB 002 Roadster particularly attractive to collectors looking for a rare motorcycle carrying the Aston Martin badge.

Price and availability

The official launch announcement did not initially disclose pricing, although international reports indicate a price of around €1.2 lakh before taxes and transport. Pricing and availability for India have not been announced.

Given the limited production, bespoke construction and premium materials, the AMB 002 Roadster sits firmly in the ultra-exclusive motorcycle segment.

The new model represents a significant expansion of Aston Martin’s two-wheeler ambitions. With its road-legal status, powerful V-twin engine, titanium chassis and limited production, the AMB 002 Roadster brings the British luxury marque’s design language to a new category while extending its partnership with Brough Superior.
