Bengaluru: Ather Energy has launched its new Konarc electric scooter in India, with prices starting at ₹99,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). Built on the company’s new EL platform, the Konarc is aimed at making electric mobility more accessible while focusing on comfort, practicality and long-term ownership.

The new scooter is offered under Ather’s S and Z lines, with multiple battery and range options. The range-topping Konarc S is planned with an IDC range of up to 200 km, while the company has also introduced a 10-year extended battery warranty option.

Customers can also purchase extended battery warranty packages covering up to 10 years or 1,00,000 km.

The 10-year option is available for ₹8,999, while an eight-year or 80,000-km option costs ₹4,999.

Built on new EL platform

The Konarc is the first Ather model based on the company’s newly developed EL platform.

The platform has been designed around everyday usability, with an emphasis on ride comfort, stability, easier servicing and charging convenience.

The scooter gets a steel unibody chassis and metal body, giving it a more conventional and sturdy construction compared with some lightweight electric scooters.
