February 2025 promises to be an exciting month for automobile enthusiasts with several key car launches following the buzz of the Auto Expo. Interestingly, all three upcoming vehicles are powered by internal combustion engines (ICE), which is a shift from the growing trend of electric vehicles. Let’s take a closer look at the two SUVs and a sports car that are making their debut this month.

Kia Syros Compact SUV

The Kia Syros, which has already garnered attention since its reveal, will be launched with much anticipation. Positioned above the Kia Sonet, it is expected to have a starting price of around Rs 10 lakh for the base HTK variant, with the top HTX+ (O) variant likely priced between Rs 15-16 lakh. The SUV promises a spacious cabin, especially for rear passengers, with added features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and adjustable ventilated rear seats. The Syros will come with two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol (120hp) and a 1.5-litre diesel (116hp), offering excellent fuel efficiency ranging from 17.6kpl to 20.7kpl. Pre-bookings are open for Rs 25,000.

Audi RS Q8 Performance

The Audi RS Q8 Performance is the top variant in the RS Q8 lineup, boasting impressive performance with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 640hp and 850Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100kph in just 3.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of over 305kph. The SUV also incorporates a 48V mild-hybrid system for enhanced performance. Expect a starting price of over Rs 1.6 crore, and bookings are already open with a deposit of Rs 5 lakh.

Aston Martin Vanquish

The return of the Aston Martin Vanquish after six years is one of the most exciting launches this February. Powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, the Vanquish produces an impressive 835hp and 1,000Nm of torque, making it faster than its predecessor, the Vantage, with a 0-100kph time of just 3.2 seconds. The car features a bold design, with a large grille, quad exhausts, and vertically stacked LED tail-lights. Inside, it offers a luxurious experience with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, and an ADAS suite. The price for the Vanquish is expected to start at Rs 6 crore, ex-showroom.
