Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially entered the United Kingdom market through a strategic partnership with Lancashire-based distributor MotoGB Ltd. This expansion marks Hero’s 51st international market and is part of the company’s broader European growth strategy, following recent market entries into Italy and Spain.
The initial product offering in the UK will be Hero’s Euro 5+ compliant Hunk 440 motorcycle, priced at €3,990 (approximately $4,650). The Hunk 440 will be available through a network of over 25 official sales and service outlets, with plans to expand to more than 35 locations by 2026.
This move is a strategic response to rising costs and production disruptions affecting domestic sales, aiming to strengthen Hero’s presence across Europe and tap into new customer bases in the UK.
