New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled one of its biggest product offensives in the country, introducing 10 new two-wheelers across multiple segments. The line-up includes seven all-new models and three updated models with fresh colour schemes, strengthening Honda’s presence in the premium motorcycle and scooter market.

The newly showcased models span adventure scooters, roadsters, cruisers, adventure motorcycles, electric mobility and flex-fuel technology. Honda said the products will be launched in phases, with prices and launch timelines to be announced closer to their respective market introductions.

Honda showcases diverse range of models

Among the biggest highlights of the unveiling are the ADV 160 adventure scooter, XR300 Rally, XR300L, CB500, Rebel 300, QC3 electric scooter, and several other premium motorcycles.

The company has also refreshed three existing models with new colour options as part of the expanded portfolio, catering to customers across multiple price segments.

ADV 160 makes India debut

One of the most anticipated products is the Honda ADV 160, the company’s first adventure-style maxi-scooter for the Indian market.

The scooter is powered by a 157cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing around 16 bhp and 14.9 Nm of torque. It features a rugged adventure-inspired design with a tall windscreen, dual-purpose styling, long-travel suspension and generous ground clearance.

Key features include:

  • LED lighting
  • Adjustable windscreen
  • Smart Key system
  • Large under-seat storage
  • Front and rear disc brakes with single-channel ABS
  • Honda Selectable Torque Control (traction control)
  • TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity

The ADV 160 is expected to compete with rivals such as the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160 and Aprilia SR 175.

Adventure motorcycles strengthen portfolio

Honda also showcased the XR300 Rally and XR300L, aimed at riders looking for lightweight adventure and dual-sport motorcycles.

The XR300 Rally features rally-inspired bodywork, long-travel suspension and off-road-focused ergonomics, while the XR300L is designed for both daily commuting and trail riding.

These models are expected to strengthen Honda’s adventure motorcycle range in India, where demand for touring and dual-purpose motorcycles has grown significantly in recent years.

Premium motorcycles and electric mobility

The expanded portfolio also includes the CB500 series, Rebel 300 cruiser, and the QC3 electric scooter, reflecting Honda’s strategy of catering to diverse customer preferences.

The company also highlighted its continued investment in electric mobility and flex-fuel technology, aligning with India’s evolving emission norms and sustainable mobility goals.

Launches to happen in phases

Honda clarified that while all ten products have been unveiled, they will not arrive in dealerships simultaneously.

Instead, the company plans to introduce each model in phases over the coming months, with individual launch dates, specifications and pricing to be revealed closer to market introduction.

Honda eyes premium growth

The latest product expansion represents one of Honda’s most ambitious strategies in India, as it looks to strengthen its position in premium scooters, motorcycles and electric vehicles.

With new offerings across adventure, touring, urban mobility and cruiser segments, Honda aims to attract a wider range of customers while competing more aggressively with rivals in India’s fast-growing two-wheeler market.
