Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has reported its March 2025 and FY2024-25 sales figures, solidifying its position as India’s second-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer.
March 2025 Sales:

Total sales: 67,320 units (+2.6% YoY)
Domestic sales: 51,820 units (-2.23% YoY)
Exports: 15,500 units (+23.02% YoY)
Despite a slight decline in domestic sales, exports surged, contributing to overall growth.
FY2024-25 Performance:

Total sales: 7,62,052 units (-2.03% YoY)
Domestic sales: 5,98,666 units (-2.61% YoY)
Exports: 1,63,386 units (+0.14% YoY)
Hyundai’s SUVs dominated the market, contributing 68.5% of domestic sales. The Hyundai Creta was India’s No.1 SUV in Q4 FY25, selling 52,898 units (Jan-Mar).
With milestones like 2.5 million SUV sales and 1.5 million Creta sales (domestic + exports), and the launch of the Hyundai Creta EV, the company aims for further growth in FY2025-26.
