New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India has launched the new Lounge Editions of the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric ahead of the festive season, adding premium styling and a segment-first rear-seat entertainment feature to its popular SUV range. The biggest highlight is an 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screen with support for OTT streaming, phone mirroring and gaming.
The special editions are based on the top-spec variants of the respective SUVs. Along with the new entertainment system, Hyundai has introduced a Golden Bronze exterior colour, an all-black cabin theme with silver accents and revised upholstery.

The Lounge Editions command a premium over their corresponding standard variants.

11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screen
The most significant addition across the three Lounge Editions is the 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment display.
Hyundai says the system supports OTT streaming, phone mirroring and gaming. It also provides access to additional applications through a dedicated app store. The feature is positioned as a segment-first offering for the SUVs.
The company has also added white ambient lighting to enhance the cabin experience. Other equipment remains largely unchanged from the respective variants on which the Lounge Editions are based.
The new entertainment feature is likely to appeal particularly to rear-seat passengers and families looking for additional digital entertainment during longer journeys.
New Golden Bronze colour and blacked-out styling
Hyundai has introduced a new Golden Bronze exterior colour for the Lounge Editions.
The special editions also receive a series of blacked-out exterior elements, including the alloy wheels, skid plates, outside rear-view mirrors, roof rails, roof spoiler and C-pillar garnish.
Inside, the SUVs feature an all-black cabin with silver accents and updated seat upholstery. The headrest cushions also receive Lounge branding, giving the special editions a distinct identity compared with the regular variants.
The wheel sizes remain unchanged, with the Creta and Alcazar continuing with 18-inch wheels, while the Creta Electric gets 17-inch wheels.
Alcazar gets a new five-seat configuration
Another important update is the introduction of a five-seat configuration for the Hyundai Alcazar.
The SUV was previously offered with six- and seven-seat layouts. The new five-seat Lounge Edition is priced at ₹21.81 lakh ex-showroom. Hyundai has positioned it ₹90,000 above the Signature seven-seater and ₹71,000 above the Signature six-seater.
The new layout gives buyers another option depending on their preference for passenger space and luggage capacity.
Existing engines and features retained
Despite the new Lounge Edition features, Hyundai has not made changes to the existing powertrain options.
The special editions are based on the top-spec variants of the respective models and retain their existing feature sets and powertrain options. The primary changes are focused on cabin entertainment, styling and comfort.
This approach allows Hyundai to add a more premium positioning to the three SUVs without substantially altering their existing mechanical packages.
Festive-season push
The launch comes ahead of India’s festive season, traditionally an important period for automobile manufacturers.
With the Lounge Editions, Hyundai is looking to offer additional premium features to buyers without moving the models into an entirely new product category. The rear-seat entertainment system, in particular, adds a feature aimed at passengers rather than the driver.
The new editions also strengthen Hyundai’s focus on connected and entertainment-oriented features across its SUV portfolio.
With the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric Lounge Editions now available, Hyundai has expanded its range of special-edition offerings while giving buyers additional choices across petrol, diesel and electric powertrains.
