Kawasaki has refreshed the Ninja 300 for the 2025 model year, bringing new features to its beloved 300cc sportbike — all while keeping the price unchanged at ₹3.43 lakh (ex-showroom). This strategic move helps it stay competitive against rivals like the KTM RC 390 (₹3.59 lakh) and Yamaha R3 (₹3.22 lakh).

What’s New in the 2025 Ninja 300?

The most noticeable updates come in the design and lighting department:

  • A redesigned windscreen now draws inspiration from the powerful ZX-10R.

  • It also gets dual-projector headlamps inspired by the ZX-6R, enhancing both style and visibility.

  • New colour options for 2025 include Candy Lime Green, Metallic Moondust Grey, and Lime Green, keeping the aesthetics sharp and modern.

  • Engine and Performance

Mechanically, the Ninja 300 remains unchanged. It continues with a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, delivering:

    • 39 hp of power

  • 26.1 Nm of peak torque

  • 6-speed gearbox for smooth shifts and performance tuning

  • Competitor Snapshot

    1. KTM RC 390

    • 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled

  • 43.5 hp, 37 Nm

  • Yamaha R3

    • 321cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled

  • 42 hp, 29.5 Nm

  • While the RC 390 offers more torque and raw power, the R3 brings refined twin-cylinder performance, putting the Ninja 300 in a sweet spot for riders seeking balance in styling, engine performance, and value.
