KTM has officially confirmed that the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S will be launched in India on January 30, 2025. The highly anticipated adventure bike is expected to bring several new features to the market, making it a key player in the sub-500cc segment.

Alongside the 390 Adventure S, KTM may also launch the 390 Enduro R, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.

The 390 Adventure S is built on a steel trellis frame and features an adjustable 43mm WP Apex USD fork and a WP monoshock with rebound and preload adjustments. The S variant is equipped with 21/17-inch wire-spoke wheels and tubeless spoke wheels fitted with Apollo Tramplr tyres. This model will offer a premium experience with full LED lighting, a 50-color TFT display, cornering ABS, traction control, and multiple ride modes. Notably, it will also introduce Cruise Control to the Indian adventure bike market, a first in the sub-500cc category.

Powering the 390 Adventure S is a 399cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends with switchable dual-channel ABS, including a Supermoto mode for added versatility.

The KTM 390 Adventure S will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the growing adventure bike segment in India.
