Maserati has launched the MC20 Cielo, the convertible version of its MC20 supercar, in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹5.31 crore. The Cielo retains the coupe’s carbon fibre monocoque but features a retractable roof that opens or closes in just 12 seconds.

This new roof system adds 65 kg to the car’s weight, leading to a slight dip in performance. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, the Cielo produces 630 BHP and 730 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox driving the rear wheels.

Despite the added weight, the Cielo clocks 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds—just 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe—and boasts a top speed of 320 km/h.

Inside, the MC20 Cielo mirrors the coupe with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster, blending cutting-edge tech with Italian luxury.
