May 2025 is revving up with a lineup of exciting Electric car launches across multiple segments—ranging from MPVs and hatchbacks to EVs and high-performance machines. Here’s what to expect:

Kia Clavis – Launching 8 May
Kia will debut the all-new Clavis, not to be confused with the Carens facelift. Positioned as a fresh addition to the lineup, it features updated bumpers, new lighting, stylish alloy wheels, and LED light bars. Key interior highlights include a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ADAS features, and a redesigned dashboard. Engine choices will include 1.5L NA petrol, turbo petrol, and diesel, paired with manual and automatic options.

Tata Altroz Facelift – 22 May Reveal
The popular premium hatchback gets its first major update since launch. Expect design tweaks with a new grille, front/rear bumpers, LED headlamps, flush door handles, and refreshed alloys. Inside, Tata is likely to offer revised upholstery and features. It will continue with existing NA petrol, turbo-petrol, CNG, and diesel options.

MG Windsor EV Pro – Bigger Battery, More Range
MG is preparing to roll out a new Windsor EV variant boasting a larger 50.6kWh battery. Although power remains at 134bhp/200Nm, range will improve significantly to 460km (CLTC). The addition of an ADAS suite enhances its appeal.

Volkswagen Golf GTI – Hot Hatch Incoming
VW brings its iconic Golf GTI as a CBU, offering pure driving thrill with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine, 260bhp, and 370Nm torque. The 0–100kmph dash in 5.9 seconds makes it a track-worthy hatch with everyday comfort.
