NEW DELHI: Audi India has commenced deliveries of the all-new Q3 luxury SUV, just a week after its launch on October 16, 2026. The first customer delivery was reported by Audi Ahmedabad, with the buyer choosing the Glacier White Metallic colour.
The new-generation SUV arrives with updated styling, a redesigned cabin, new digital displays and an expanded list of comfort and safety features. Locally assembled at the company’s facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, the Q3 is offered in two variants, Nova and Zenith, with introductory ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 51.99 lakh.
Audi Q3 price and variants
The new Audi Q3 is available in two variants in India:
- Nova: Rs 51.99 lakh
- Zenith: Rs 55.99 lakh
Both prices are ex-showroom. The SUV is locally assembled, allowing Audi to manufacture the model in India rather than relying entirely on imported, fully built vehicles.
The Q3 continues to serve as an entry point into Audi’s luxury SUV range. The latest generation brings substantial changes to the exterior design, dashboard layout and technology package, while retaining a turbo-petrol engine and the brand’s quattro all-wheel-drive system.
New Audi Q3 gets redesigned exterior
The 2026 Audi Q3 features a more contemporary front design, highlighted by a large Singleframe grille with honeycomb-style detailing. The front lighting arrangement adopts a split-style layout, with LED daytime running lights positioned above the main Digital Matrix LED headlights.
The Matrix LED system incorporates advanced micro-LED technology and can project selected information and lighting patterns onto the road to assist the driver. The SUV also features illuminated Audi rings at the rear, adding a distinctive element to its exterior styling.
The India-spec model is offered in five exterior colours: Glacier White, Sage Green, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue and Tambora Grey.
The refreshed design gives the Q3 a more technology-focused appearance while maintaining its compact luxury SUV proportions.
Digital cabin features larger displays
Inside, the new Q3 receives a redesigned dashboard with a curved digital display arrangement. The setup combines an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12.8-inch central infotainment touchscreen.
The steering wheel features touch-enabled controls, while the gear selector has been relocated to the steering column. This frees up space on the centre console for storage, cup holders and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
The cabin also gets leatherette upholstery, power-adjustable front seats and a memory function for the driver’s seat. The front seats are heated, while the exterior mirrors offer power adjustment and memory-linked functionality.
Other equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, a coloured head-up display and a powered tailgate. A 12-speaker Sonos sound system is included to enhance the in-car audio experience.
The new layout focuses on integrating infotainment, vehicle information and controls into a more streamlined digital environment.
Engine and performance
The India-spec Audi Q3 is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, direct-injection turbo-petrol engine producing 204 bhp and 320 Nm of torque.
The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. The combination is designed to deliver power to all four wheels and provide traction across different driving conditions.
Audi claims the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 229 kmph.
The powertrain remains petrol-only for the Indian launch, with no diesel or hybrid version announced for this specification.
Safety and driver assistance features
The new Q3 receives nine airbags and a range of electronic safety and driver-assistance systems. These include adaptive cruise control, front emergency brake assist, driver attention and fatigue monitoring, hill-hold assist and hill-climb assistance.
The SUV also gets a rear-view parking camera and parking assistance technology. However, the India-spec model does not offer a 360-degree surround-view camera, a feature available in some competing luxury SUVs.
The Digital Matrix LED headlights add another layer of technology by supporting advanced lighting functions. The combination of passive safety equipment, braking assistance and driver-support systems is intended to improve occupant protection and driving convenience.
Deliveries begin after October launch
Audi India launched the new Q3 on October 16, with customer deliveries beginning shortly afterwards. The first reported handover took place through Audi Ahmedabad, where the customer selected the Glacier White Metallic shade.
The beginning of deliveries marks the arrival of the latest Q3 generation on Indian roads. With prices ranging from Rs 51.99 lakh to Rs 55.99 lakh, the SUV will compete in the premium compact SUV segment against models such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
The updated design, larger displays, advanced lighting technology and quattro all-wheel drive are among the model’s key selling points. Buyers will also need to consider variant-specific equipment, ownership packages and on-road costs when making a purchase decision.
