MOTORCYCLES: Royal Enfield has released a teaser for the upcoming Himalayan 750 ahead of its expected global debut at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. The new adventure tourer will sit above the Himalayan 450 and is expected to become the brand’s largest-capacity adventure motorcycle.
The teaser comes as the motorcycle approaches its production debut, following several sightings of near-production models during testing and at Royal Enfield’s Himalayan Basecamp event in Ladakh.
Bigger engine and adventure-focused design
The Himalayan 750 is expected to use a new 750cc, air-and-oil-cooled parallel-twin engine derived from the architecture of Royal Enfield’s existing 650cc twin-cylinder platform. Final engine output and torque figures have not yet been confirmed.
Current estimates suggest power could be around 55–60 bhp, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The larger engine is expected to provide stronger performance for highway touring and long-distance riding.
The motorcycle features a substantial front fairing, a tall windscreen, a round headlamp and a broad fuel-tank area. Its overall design retains the upright riding posture associated with the Himalayan range while adopting a more touring-oriented appearance.
Alloy and spoked wheel options expected
Recent sightings suggest that Royal Enfield could offer the Himalayan 750 with alloy wheels as well as cross-spoke wheels. The two configurations may cater to riders with different touring and off-road requirements, although the company has not confirmed the final variant lineup.
The motorcycles spotted so far feature a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. This setup points towards a balance between road stability and moderate off-road capability.
The motorcycle is also expected to feature adjustable front suspension, a rear monoshock and twin front disc brakes. These components could help support the bike’s higher weight and touring-focused role.
Expected features and technology
The Himalayan 750 has been spotted with a TFT instrument display and switchgear suggesting cruise control and electronic rider aids. Other anticipated features include smartphone connectivity, navigation, traction control, multiple riding modes and tyre pressure monitoring.
However, the availability of these features on the final production model remains subject to official confirmation.
The larger motorcycle is expected to appeal to riders looking for a middleweight adventure tourer suited to highway journeys, touring with luggage and occasional off-road riding.
Expected India launch and price
Royal Enfield is expected to unveil the production-spec Himalayan 750 at EICMA 2026, scheduled to take place in November. An India launch is anticipated to follow, potentially in early 2027, although the company has not announced an official date.
The motorcycle’s expected price is around ₹4.5 lakh to ₹5 lakh, ex-showroom, based on current industry estimates. The final price, specifications and variant details are likely to be announced closer to its launch.
With its larger engine and additional touring equipment, the Himalayan 750 is set to expand Royal Enfield’s adventure motorcycle range beyond the Himalayan 450.
