Skoda has revised the prices of its popular sub-4m SUV, the Kylaq, for May 2025. Originally launched in December 2024 with attractive introductory pricing, these rates were extended until April 2025. With the new month, Skoda has adjusted the pricing strategy — increasing prices for some variants while reducing them for others.
Starting with the entry-level Classic trim, the manual variant now costs ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom), up by ₹36,000 from its launch price of ₹7.89 lakh. The Signature trim has also seen hikes — priced at ₹9.85 lakh (MT) and ₹10.95 lakh (AT), with increases of ₹26,000 and ₹36,000 respectively.
However, from the Signature+ variant onwards, Skoda has bucked the trend with price cuts — a rare move in India’s automotive market. The Signature+ MT now costs ₹11.25 lakh, down ₹15,000, while the AT version is reduced by ₹5,000 to ₹12.35 lakh.
The biggest drop is seen in the top-end Prestige trim, where the manual variant is now ₹12.89 lakh (down ₹46,000) and the automatic is ₹13.99 lakh (down ₹41,000).
Following this update, the Skoda Kylaq’s price range spans from ₹8.25 lakh to ₹13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It continues to compete with rivals like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV3XO — and remains Skoda’s most affordable and best-selling model in India.
