The Indian motorcycle market is witnessing some exciting developments as several new bikes are set to launch soon, and the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 is just around the corner. Here’s a look at some of the most anticipated models that could soon be making their way to the Indian roads.

1. Thruxton 400 by Triumph

The Triumph Thruxton 400 has been spotted undergoing testing in India and Southern France, and is expected to launch soon. Based on the Triumph Speed 400, it will feature a 399 cc single-cylinder engine producing 39.5 bhp of power and 37.5 Nm of peak torque. Equipped with upside-down forks, a digital-analogue instrument cluster, and ABS, the Thruxton 400 will likely sit between the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 in Triumph’s lineup. This new model is anticipated to offer traction control, USB charging, and other rider aids, making it an excellent option for everyday commuting and weekend riding.

2. Honda CB 650 & CBR 650R

Honda is gearing up to launch updated versions of its CB 650 and CBR 650R models in India. The bikes were last seen in the market with prices of ₹9.15 lakh (CB 650) and ₹9.35 lakh (CBR 650R). With updates expected, these prices are likely to rise. The updated bikes are expected to come with improved features, making them highly anticipated for those seeking mid-size performance motorcycles.

3. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750cc

Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 750cc is expected to play a major role in the brand’s expansion into international markets, where there’s greater demand for larger engines. Powered by a 750cc parallel-twin engine generating 55 bhp and 60 Nm of torque, the bike will feature a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. This model is designed to offer better highway performance and is likely to be a great option for long-distance touring, especially for markets with higher speed limits.

4. Hero Xtreme 250R New

The Hero Xtreme 250R is expected to be a street fighter version of the Karizma XMR 250, offering a 250cc engine with a trellis frame and adjustable rear monoshock. Equipped with switchable ABS and disc brakes, the Xtreme 250R is set to compete with models like the Yamaha FZ S and Duke 250. Priced around ₹2.2 lakh, it’s an exciting option for riders looking for a balance of power and practicality.
