Bengaluru: BJP national general secretary CT Ravi has made it clear that there is no proposal of inducting former ministers MB Patil and Vinay Kulkarni into the party fold.
Earlier it was reported that both these leaders are knocking on the doors of BJP. It was reported that BJP national leaders who are looking for an influential lingayat leader are also interested to induct both these leaders.
It can be recalled that both of these leaders were at the forefront of the movement for separate religious status for Lingayat community.
“All those who accept the party’s ideology will be inducted into the party. WE will only be cautious that people do not become liability to the party,” he said.
