Belagavi’s forthcoming KLE Cancer Hospital received a significant boost during Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh’s visit on Thursday. Welcomed by KLE Society Chairman Prabhakar Kore, Medical Director Dr. M.V. Jali, and senior medical staff, the visit highlighted the hospital’s state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Kore emphasized the critical need for advanced cancer treatment in North Karnataka. He provided a detailed overview of the hospital’s top-tier facilities, including the Radiation Oncology Treatment Centre and Bone-Marrow Transplant Unit, which are designed to deliver precision and genomic medicine-based care.
In preparation for the hospital’s grand inauguration on December 30 by President Droupadi Murmu, Kore also discussed plans for a public meeting at the nearby stadium. The hospital is expected to set new benchmarks for cancer treatment in the region, offering cutting-edge technology and comprehensive care.
Shalini Rajneesh expressed her commitment to enhancing cancer care across Karnataka, aligning with the state’s vision for better healthcare accessibility and quality.
