In Belagavi, Karnataka, a minor girl was reportedly subjected to assault on two separate occasions by six individuals. According to police, the first incident took place in December when one accused took the girl to a secluded location and brought others along. The act was recorded on mobile phones.

Following this, the group allegedly threatened the girl, which led to a second assault in January. After the girl’s family became aware of the situation, they filed a complaint with the APMC police station.

Police Commissioner Borase Bhushan Gulabrao confirmed the survivor is a minor and that a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered. Due to the sensitivity of the case, further details and identities are being withheld.

Five of the six accused have been arrested within 24 hours, while efforts continue to locate the remaining suspect. All accused are adults.

The forensic team is gathering evidence to support the investigation. Authorities assured that strict legal action will be pursued against those involved.
