Star Air has suspended ticket bookings for three crucial routes from Belagavi—Tirupati, Nagpur, and Bengaluru—effective April 2025. This move has disappointed frequent travelers, as these routes were in high demand.
The airline has a track record of discontinuing services, particularly after the end of the UDAN scheme. Previously, it had withdrawn flights on routes such as Belagavi-Jodhpur, Belagavi-Indore, Belagavi-Surat, and Belagavi-Nashik. With the latest cancellations, Star Air now operates only three routes from Belagavi:
✅ Belagavi-Mumbai (Daily)
✅ Belagavi-Ahmedabad (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat)
✅ Belagavi-Jaipur (Sun, Mon, Thu)
The decision has left passengers frustrated over reduced travel options. Many criticize Star Air for not expanding beyond UDAN-backed routes, limiting Belagavi’s air connectivity.
While the airline’s website reflects the booking suspensions, no official explanation has been provided, leaving travelers in uncertainty. This raises concerns about Star Air’s long-term commitment to Belagavi.
Available Routes from April 15, 2025

- Belagavi-Bengaluru (2 flights)

Passengers now hope for alternative routes or reconsideration from Star Air.
