For Behram Siganporia, lead vocalist of Bengaluru-based band Best Kept Secret, opening for Bryan Adams’ concerts in Bengaluru today and Hyderabad on Monday marks a poignant full-circle moment. At just 16, Siganporia attended Adams’ 2011 concert in Bengaluru and was mesmerized. “Seeing my idol perform live was a real rock star moment and an eye-opener. I thought, You know what? I also want to pursue music,” he reminisces.

Today, Best Kept Secret—featuring Hemanth Diwakaran on guitar, Abhilash EK on drums, and Steve Rajan on keyboard—is one of India’s leading live music acts, known for their energetic blend of pop, rock, funk, and blues. Currently in the middle of a world tour, the band sees this opportunity as a major milestone. “The first song I learnt on guitar was Summer of ’69. Now, sharing the stage with Bryan Adams is emotional and a big step in our careers,” shares Siganporia, a pilot-turned-musician.

The band plans to perform a mix of their originals and nostalgic covers during their set. Their original lineup includes chart-toppers like Can’t Let You Go, Moving On, She’s Out of Control, and Come a Little Closer from their upcoming album. They’ll also play iconic covers from the ’80s and ’90s to capture the nostalgia associated with Bryan Adams’ timeless music.

For Siganporia, performing in front of a supportive home crowd in Bengaluru is particularly special. “Messages have been pouring in with encouragement. Bengalureans want to see us grow and perform on even bigger stages, and having that kind of home support means everything,” he says.

As they prepare to share the stage with a global legend, Best Kept Secret is ready to create an unforgettable experience for fans and take their career to new heights.
