Global AI safety leader Inspeq AI has officially debuted in India by establishing its first office in Bengaluru’s vibrant Koramangala neighborhood. This new hub, capable of accommodating 70 employees, signifies the company’s commitment to one of the fastest-expanding AI markets globally.
The startup, co-founded in 2023 by technology veterans Apoorva Kumar and Ramanujam Macharla Vijayakumar, aims to hire 50 professionals across engineering, operations, and client relations. Inspeq AI’s Bengaluru facility complements its international offices in Dublin and London, cementing the city as its third global base.
Inspeq AI specializes in making AI systems more secure and efficient. Its advanced LLM Ops platform enhances the reliability of generative AI, accelerates app development by up to four times, and reduces expenses by 70%.
During the launch, Apoorva Kumar lauded Bengaluru’s dynamic tech environment as the perfect location for fostering AI innovation. Adarsh Shastri, former Apple India chief and grandson of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, inaugurated the office, emphasizing the need for responsible AI to benefit society sustainably.
To strengthen ethical AI adoption, the company announced a partnership with HCLTech to integrate responsible AI practices into tools like Microsoft Co-Pilot and AWS Bedrock. Additionally, the platform adheres to global standards like the EU AI Act, preventing risks like reputational harm and hefty fines.
“India’s exceptional talent pool will drive our mission for AI ethics,” Kumar added.
