Air India Express marked another milestone with the launch of its inaugural flight between Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) and Sri Vijaya Puram. The first flight departed KIA at 10:50 am, arriving at its destination by 1:15 pm. The return flight leaves Sri Vijaya Puram at 1:50 pm, reaching Bengaluru at 4:20 pm.

Bengaluru continues to be a major hub for the airline, which operates 374 weekly flights from the city, connecting 25 domestic locations and two key West Asian destinations—Abu Dhabi and Dammam.

Adding to its growing network, Air India Express will also introduce direct flights between Bengaluru and Chennai, starting January 1. This expansion reinforces Bengaluru’s role as a pivotal aviation center in southern India.
