Sunal Sood shared how he used AI tools to streamline his rental search, calling the process far more efficient than traditional methods.
In a viral post, he explained that instead of manually browsing listings, he automated the task using AI to scan multiple Facebook groups dedicated to flat and roommate listings.
AI filters, sorts and simplifies
The system was designed to filter posts based on specific criteria. It prioritised recent listings, removed spam or irrelevant posts, and ensured only “no broking” options were included.
Beyond filtering, the AI also calculated travel time to key locations, organised contact details into easy-to-access links, and presented everything in a clear summary format.
From dozens of listings to one home
The result of the process was striking. Sood revealed that the AI-generated output led to 20 strong leads, four property visits, and ultimately one finalised home.
For many Bengaluru residents, where rental searches are often time-consuming and frustrating, this level of efficiency stood out.
