A Bengaluru-based company has set a world record by completing a massive 1.2 lakh square feet pre-engineered building (PEB) in just 64 hours.
Mount Roofing & Structures Pvt Ltd accomplished this milestone at the KIADB Industrial Area in Sira, Tumkur, Karnataka. The achievement was officially recognized by the United Kingdom-based World Book of Records, with adjudicator Santosh Shukla presenting the certification on Wednesday.
Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industries M B Patil hailed the record as a testament to Karnataka’s leadership in infrastructure and rapid industrial development. “With advanced engineering and evolving construction methods, the state continues to set new benchmarks,” he stated.
Sher Singh, Managing Director of Mount Roofing, emphasized the significance of PEB technology in transforming industrial construction through speed, efficiency, and sustainability.
The structure was commissioned by DhaSh PV Technologies as part of a ₹346.35 crore Solar PV Manufacturing Plant, aimed at producing Solar PV junction boxes. The remarkable feat showcases India’s growing prowess in cutting-edge construction.
