A luxury Lamborghini Aventador, valued at approximately ₹10 crore and owned by a Bengaluru-based social media influencer, caught fire on a city street, drawing massive attention online.

The incident, captured on video and widely circulated across social platforms, shows flames erupting from the rear engine compartment of the supercar. Onlookers quickly rushed to pour water in an attempt to extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported.

The car belongs to Sanjeev, an online influencer who goes by the Instagram handle Nimma Mane Maga Sanju. With over 2 lakh followers, Sanjeev is widely known for showcasing his extravagant lifestyle, including his fleet of premium vehicles. He often portrays himself as a farmer and is typically seen adorned in chunky gold jewellery.

Initially, viewers speculated that the car was entirely destroyed in the fire. However, Sanjeev later clarified through his social media that the damage was minimal and the vehicle remained largely intact.

Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of the fire.

Interestingly, this is not an isolated incident involving a Lamborghini. In December of the previous year, a Lamborghini Revuelto—also estimated to cost ₹10 crore—caught fire on Mumbai’s Coastal Road. That incident prompted industrialist and car enthusiast Gautam Singhania to raise concerns regarding the safety of Lamborghini models operating on Indian roads.

As luxury cars grow in popularity among influencers and collectors, these repeated fire incidents have sparked conversations about the vehicles’ reliability and safety in Indian driving conditions.
