Bengaluru: Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya is set to tie the knot with Chennai-based Carnatic singer and Bharatanatyam dancer Sivasri Skandaprasad. The wedding, scheduled for March 5 and 6 in Bengaluru, promises to be an intimate event, graced by close friends and family.
Plans for the marriage were reportedly finalized two months ago with the blessings of both families. While no official announcement has been made, close associates have confirmed the news. Sivasri was recently spotted with Tejasvi during the Ironman Marathon in Goa, a public appearance that hinted at their growing connection.
Sivasri is a multifaceted artist celebrated for her prowess as a Carnatic vocalist and Bharatanatyam performer. Her impressive academic background includes a B.Tech in Bioengineering, an MA in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras, and an MA in Sanskrit from Madras Sanskrit College. She is also a passionate cyclist, trekker, and marathon enthusiast.
Her YouTube channel, with over 200,000 followers, showcases her artistic journey. Sivasri gained nationwide acclaim for her rendition of the Kannada devotional song Poojisalende Hoovugal Tande during the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration, earning praise from audiences and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
